The Role:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for all processes involved in the manufacturing of GIB® plasterboard, compounds and that other duties carried out correctly and safely. You will ensure all product released for distribution meets the manufacturing and quality of standards and/or specifications.
About You:
- Tertiary qualified Engineer in Mechanical, Production or Chemical Processes.
- 4+ years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment at a relatively influential operation or plant level.
- Knowledge of processing and plant technology, and experience and knowledge of continuous production.
- Manufacturing Excellence (Lean) Principles, and conversant with PLC Process Control Systems.
- Experience & Knowledge of process control systems planning & development.
- Excellent planning and organizing.
