Reporting to the Engineering Manager this role will see you provide engineering support for projects, maintenance, repair and breakdowns across the site, including the plaster mill, board plant, dispatch areas and mobile equipment, ensuring full production and customer service requirements are met.
To be successful in this role you will have at least 5 years’ mechanical engineering experience combined with 5+ years’ experience maintaining automated machinery, in a medium to large manufacturing production operation. In addition to this you will have;
- A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of best practice maintenance methods and processes
- Knowledge of PLC and control programming of industrial automation systems
- The ability to repair, troubleshoot and install equipment
- Dedication to fostering a strong culture of health and safety
