Prior to launching Alexander James in 2011 with long-time friend and colleague, Stuart Maxwell, Tim worked for a number of large international recruitment consultancies specializing in the Accounting & Finance sector.
Tim delivers exceptional recruitment solutions to clients with determination and drive that is balanced by his calm and methodical approach to life, making him a favourite with some of New Zealand’s most recognised financial institutions.
It was after the challenging events of 2008 that saw Tim and Stuart come together with the shared vision of starting a recruitment consultancy where people mattered more than profit. They just couldn’t let go of the idea of being able to nurture and develop a team of consultants who would embody the values that were intrinsic to their own success.
It’s been well over a decade since Alexander James came into being, and the consultancy continues to grow and evolve into a fun yet functional team, building a reputation for delivering search-based recruitment in an unassuming yet undeniably successful way. We call that the AJ way.
